Lovely cobalt blue coffee can with a hand painted vingette of a courting couple. The beautifully hand painted scene features a man playing music to a lady reading. This scene has an ornate hand painted gilt design frame. The background of the coffee can is a deep colbalt blue and is decorated with fancy gilt flowers and patterns. The angular handle is also lined with gilt. To the base is a blue 'beehive' or shield mark under the glaze indicating Vienna.

Condition: In good antique condition with some tiny nibbles to the gilt edge and light wear to the gilt in places.
