A beautiful art nouveau brooch, with a simple yet stylish design. The square moonstone is a four-sided cabochon stone set within a square silver mount offset at 90 degrees to the stone. Every element of this design is subtly rounded, with smooth edges and looping details, in a typical art nouveau style which is still very wearable today.
The brooch fastens well with a pin and a simple 'C' clasp and marked 'Silver' and 925 to the reverse.
In good condition, with just a few surface marks to the stone, commensurate with age.
