An exceptional solid silver Napkin Ring by Mappin & Webb.  Nicely designed, the square shape has inverted curved corners.  On three sides there is a stylish engine turned pattern.  The forth side is a plain polished silver (initials have been removed leaving a lovely plain polished surface).  Hallmarks are clearly visible for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1933, Lion Passant indicating fine sterling silver, and the maker's mark for the renowned silversmith:  Mappin & Webb.

The Napkin Ring sits in the lovely navy blue original  leatherette  case which is in super condition.  The inside of the case is lined with cream coloured satin and velvet and the name and address of Mappin & Webb is printed under the lid.

Great gift for new baby /Christening.
