Cased set of solid silver teaspoons. The spoon handles are a lovely & simple design with the only decoration being a slight protruding oval shape to the top of the handles. The back of the spoons are very clearly hallmarked for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark of 1924, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The silversmith's maker's mark is also visible for Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd.
These spoons come in the original black leatherette case, which when opened reveals a black velveteen pad on which the spoons sit, with cream satin on the inside of the lid.
Condition: These spoon are in great antique condition. The case opens and closes perfectly and the inside is nice and clean. The outside of the case is in good condition, slightly worn at the corners with a few marks to the leatherette.
