A charming Victorian silver Trinket Dish.  This dish is beautifully decorated with roses to the base and pretty patterned sides with criss-cross pierced work.  Hallmarks are visible on one side of the rim of the dish for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1896, Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark for the silvermaker:  Mitchell Bosley & Co.

A very pretty dish and nicely proportioned, in great condition.
