A very nicely plain polished silver Edwardian sovereign holder case with a loop for attachment. Spring loaded, the case works perfectly and is in lovely antique collector's condition.
Very clear and crisp hallmarks are visible on the inside of the lid for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1902 and Lion Passant indicating fine sterling silver and maker's mark for Aaron Lufkin Dennison. Partial marks also visible on the spring loaded frame.
A lovely case, feels nice to hold in the hand. The spring loaded feature works perfectly.
Condition: In lovely antique collector's condition. (There is some minute surface scratching commensurate with age mentioned only for accuracy and does not detract from the sovereign case).
Hallmarks: Birmingham 1902 by Aaron Lufkin & Dennison.
