A fine Edwardian, solid silver stamp case, in the form of an envelope.   The hinged lid opens to allow placement of stamps inside.  On the right hand top corner there is a loop for attachment.

When the hinged lid is opened clear hallmarks are revealed for The Birmingham Assay Office and a date mark for 1902.  There are also maker's marks, for the silversmiths:  Gourdel Vales & Co and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver.

Condition:  This stamp case is in very good antique condition. The hinge works perfectly. There are some very minor dents to the silver
