A stylish, Edwardian  silver topped dressing table jar by the renowned maker Mappin & Webb. The silver lid is a plain polished silver with hallmarks around the rim for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1905 and Loin Passant indicating sterling silver  The maker's mark 'Mappin & Webb' is also clearly visible and is also marked on the underneath of the lid (see images). 

Condition.  The glass is in great antique condition with no chips or nibbles to the glass.  The silver lid is in very good condition (slighty uneven in areas - see images).

Hallmarks:  London 1905 by Mappin & Webb.

Measurements:  Height:  8.5 cm    Diameter width:  3.7 cm approx.  Weight:  82 grams
