An unusual Edwardian solid silver vesta case with column design to the front and back and an unusually shaped empty cartouche to the front. There is a loop to one side for attachment and the hinged lid opens to reveal hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1908 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The silver maker's mark is also visible for T Heatley. Partial marks are also visible on the front of the lid.
Condition: The Vesta is in very good condition (there is a very slight dent to the left bottom corner area of the Vesta which is mentioned for accuracy only and is hardly noticeable unless studied).
