An unusual Edwardian,  solid silver Vesta case with column design to the front and back and an unusually shaped empty cartouch to the front. There is a loop to one side for attachment and the hinged lid opens to reveal hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1908 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.  The silver maker's mark is also visible for T Heatley.  Partial marks are also visible on the front of the lid.

Condition:  The Vesta is in very good condition (there is a very slight dent to the left bottom corner area of the Vesta which is mentioned for accuracy only and is hardly noticeable unless studied).

Hallmarks: Birmingham 1908 by T Heatley

Measurements: Height: 57.5mm   Width: 37mm not including loop
