An exceptionally pretty Edwardian silver Bon Bon Dish. The decoration is pierced with lovely scroll design and has two matching pierced handles either side of the dish. The proportions are just right, being 3.1 cm high, and a lovely shape (see images) presenting a wonderful overall appearance. Hallmarks are visible on the base for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1901 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver, along with the silver maker's mark: Deakin & Francis.
