An exquisite Edwardian silver Pill Pot. The design is unusual as it is embossed overall, including the underneath of the pot. The shape is charming and the patterns on the silver are delightful. It has a neat small hinged lid which opens and closes nicely and firmly. Hallmarks are visible on the base with partial marks on the lip of the lid, for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1909 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker's mark is also visible for the silver maker Adie & Lovekin.
