A very stylish solid silver pepper pot. Nicely proportioned : stands 10cm high. No engraving or embossing, the beauty is in the lovely baluster shape. The lid pulls off and is decorated with a neat finial. Hallmarks are visible to the base for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1936, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker's mark: Blackmore & Fletcher. Partial marks are also visible on the lid.
A fine Pepper Pot - would grace any dining table beautifully.
