A very fine solid silver Perfume Flask by the renowned silversmith: Sampson Mordan. A plain polished silver bottle in the style of a small hip flask ( used for perfume or a small tot of spirits). The screw top lid twists off and on. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side of the body of the flask, with partial marks on the back, for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1912, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver the the maker's mark for Sampson Mordan.
A lovely item by a very collectable maker and in great condition. Great for display or as a practical item for carrying perfume in one's pocket, or for a snifty nip!
