A very fine Victorian solid silver sugar sifter, lovely proportions and exquisite design also a good solid heavy gauge silver. The pierced top with neat finial pulls off to allow filling. Hallmarks are visible on the body for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1897 along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and Maker's marks for Lee & Wigfull. These hallmarks are also visible on the inside lip of the top.
