A very fine Victorian solid silver sugar sifter, lovely proportions and exquisite design also a good solid heavy gauge silver.  The pierced top with neat finial pulls off to allow filling. Hallmarks are visible on the  body for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1897 along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and Maker's marks for Lee & Wigfull.  These hallmarks are also visible on the inside lip of the top.

A lovely item in antique collector's condition.
