A wonderful George IV silver port decanter label, very ornate with shell motifs, vine leaves and grapes. The word 'Port' is pierce in the centre and the label hangs from a heavy gauge belcher chain.

Hallmarked to the rear with the London Assay Office mark; the Lion Passant, indicating the finest sterling silver, a partial date letter for 1828 and the makers mark for Edward Edwards II. In super antique condition.

A fine piece, this will appeal to collectors of Regency silver or for anyone who wishes to add a touch of refinement to their Christmas dinner table.
