A gorgeous and unusual set of 6 Victorian Scottish silver Teaspoons.  The spoon handle is decorated with a splendid design.  The back of each is clearly hallmarked for the Glasgow Assay office with a date mark for 1847 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver.  The silver maker's mark is also clear:  John Murray or John Muir.

These teaspoons are in lovely condition (one of the spoon bowls has a tiny indentation to the left side (see last image), which we mention for accuracy only.

Hallmarks:  Glasgow 1847 by John Murray or John Muir.
