A wonderful solid silver tea caddy spoon. The spoon design is plain with hallmarks to the back of the handle. The handle is decorated with a trefid finial. A trefid is a stem that widens at the top and two notches that form it to the three-lobed shape, suggestive of a hinds hoof. Clear and crisp hallmarks are visible on the back of the spoon for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1938 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver, along with the maker's marks for Israel Freeman & Son Ltd.

In very good condition.
