A handsome set of 6 solid silver William IV tablespoons in the Old English pattern. The spoons are a plain polished silver, the only engraving being an initial 'S' at the top each spoon terminal. On the back are the very clear and crisp hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1835, Lion Passant indicting sterling silver and the silver maker's mark: Joseph & Albert Savory.
A set that would grace any dining table beautifully, and in great condiiton (there is some slight surface scratching to the silver - to be expected with the age and use).
