A handsome solid silver Vesta Case.  Both the front and back are smartly decorated with engine turned decoration featuring columns of stripes and there is an empty circular cartouch in the centre.   The lid is hinged to one side and there is a loop at the side for attachment.

Hallmarks are clearly visible on the inside lip of the Vesta case for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1911 and silvermaker's marks: W H Haseler.   The Lion Passant is also visible indicating the finest sterling silver.

This Vesta case feels good and solid, a heavy gauge of silver.

Condition:  In great antique collector's condition. (Some slight surface scratching to the silver commensurate with age and mentioned for accuracy only),

Hallmarks: Birmingham 1911 by W H Haseler.
