A very impressive pair of Victorian solid silver Fish Servers.  Both handle and blade of the fork are silver and are fully hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1852 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver, along with the silver maker's mark: John Gammage. The Knife blade and handle are also silver with the same hallmarks however, the handle is dated 1851 and the blade 1852

Both handles are nicely designed and the blade of the fish knife features a splendid pierced design.

A handsome pair in great condition.  Would make a lovely gift for a Wedding or any occasion.

Condition:  Both of the items are in very good condition. (The knife has some bitumen showing around its hilt join area.)

Hallmarks:  Birmingham 1852/51 by John Gammage.

Measurements:  Knife Length:  13 1/2 inches     Fork length:  9 1/2 inches.
