A charming solid silver Napkin  Ring by the renowned silversmith Charles Horner of Halifax. The pattern is similar to engine turned design, however, somewhat different as it has a slightly hammered appearance.  There is a vacant cartouche in the centre.  Hallmarks are visible on the back for the Chester Assay office with a date mark for 1908, Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark:  Charles Horner.

Condition:  In super condition, would be great as a gift, espcially for a new baby /  Christening. (Could be engraved in the cartouche).  Great for a collector of Charles Horner!
