A very nicely sized and shaped Victorian solid silver bon bon dish. Square in shape the dish is ornately decorated around the sides with a plain polished silver base. Clear hallmarks are visible on the base for the Edinburgh Assay Office with a date mark for 1896 and silver maker's mark: Hamilton & Inches.
A very lovely dish, enhanced by the size (slightly larger than usually seen) and the pretty decoration, and in excellent antique collector's condition. A super item of Edinburgh silverware.
