A super pair of Victorian solid silver serving spoons. A plain polished silver, the only engraving being a light monogram to the top of each handle, with the Old English Bead pattern decorating the edges. On the back of the spoon are the very clear and crisp hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1886, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the silver maker's mark for the silversmith John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater.
A great pair of spoons, would grace a dining table setting beautifully.
