A first rate pair of splendid William IV fiddle pattern Silver Ladles.  The ladles are a lovely plain polished silver and a good heavy gauge, which feel lovely to hold in the hand.  The back of each terminal bear the very clear hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1835, Lion Passant, indicating the finest sterling silver, with silver maker's mark for Joseph & Albert Savory.  Each have the initial 'S' engraved on the front.

A lovely pair of ladles in superb antique collector's condition. No marks or dents to the silver.

Hallmarks:  London 1835 by Joseph & Albert Savory. (The maker's mark's are rubbed, however, still legible on one of the ladles.)

Measurements: Length of each Ladle:  18.5 cm  Width across Ladle Bowl:  6 cm
