A nicely proportioned small silver Cream Jug. With pleasing pattern; the jug has a wrythen pattern to the lower half of the body with a plain polished silver upper half. The handle is ornate and compliments perfectly. Clear crisp hallmarks are visible just next to the handle for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1894, Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark for the silversmiths: Henry Matthews.
