A very pretty  heavy gauge silver sauceboat.   Standing on a pedestal base, the sauceboat has a neat decorative handle and a charming scalloped edge. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay  Office with a date mark for 1913  along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the silvermaker's mark for Sanders & Mackenzie (Ernest Wilfred Sanders & Henry Arthur Mackenzie).

Fine sauce boat, lovely proportions, this item is in great antique collector's condition.

Hallmarks and maker's marks:  Birmingham 1913 by Sanders & Mackenzie (Ernest Wilfred Sanders & Henry Arthur Mackenzie).
