A very pretty Victorian cut glass Dressing Table Jar. The jar has a particularly appealing engraved design to the pull off silver lid (see images). Clear hallmarks are visible on the underneath of the lid for the London Assay Office with date mark for 1877 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.
Condition: In very good condition there is a very small chip to one of the glass vertical edges that does not detract from this item and is mentioned only for accuracy. The silver top is in great condition.
