A very pretty antique silver Bon Bon / Trinket Dish.  The decoration is so typically Victorian, with piercing around the base and lovely floral and scroll detail.  Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1898 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver.  The maker's mark is also visible:  Charles Boyton.

A pleasing Dish, great as a gift for any occasion including Christening / New Baby.

Condition:  In lovely condition (there is some very  slight marking around the edge of the base which we mention for accuracy, commensurate with age - see images).
