A very fine, Victorian, double ended solid silver Marrow Scoop. Lovely plain polished silver to the front with a column of lines decoration in the centre. The back of the scoop is nicely decorated around the bowl, along with a heraldic Griffin Passant with very clear hallmarks for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1871 and maker's mark for Chawner & Co. The Lion Passant is also visible for the finest sterling silver.
A fine quality Scoop in lovely antique condition. and unusual being double ended.
