A super solid silver footed bowl or dish from the Art Deco period. The bowl has a shallow circular centre of smooth polished silver which extends into a pierced decorative gallery that forms the sides of the bowl. The rim of the bowl has twelve gently curved edges forming gentle points between which curved sections of pierced decoration create a beautiful border. Fine engraving to the inner edge adds glint and sparkle.
This high quality bowl has a good weight of silver (508 grams) and rests upon four ornate feet with a relief pattern of leaves. The outside of the bowl is in polished silver.
A wonderful item of silver which would make a stunning centrepiece or a rather superb fruit bowl. Perfect for a silver wedding anniversary or as a wedding gift.
