A handsome solid silver Cigarette Case.  The attractive engine turned pattern to the front and back resembles an envelope.  On the front there is a central cartouche with initials engraved 'HBV'.  Hinged on one side, the case opens with two push buttons.  When open the case reveals a gilt wash finish.  There is an original elastic to keep the cigarettes in place. Hallmarks are visible for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1927 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.  The maker's mark is also clear:  Charles S Green & Co Ltd.

Condition:  In very good condition.  There are some light impessions to the front and back of this case.
