A superb solid silver Edwardian twin handled bowl. It has a deep circular bowl with a smooth top band above a pattern of smooth and ribbed panelled segments which converge to the base. This detail creates a fantastically reflective interior. The bowl has a pedestal base with a rounded rim and two looped handles which branch out at the top, tipped with leafy motifs.
The bowl has a good weight to it and is of lovely quality. It would make a super sugar or bon bon dish, and has the proportions to make a splendid sporting trophy.
Condition: In superb antique collectors condition.
Hallmarked James Wood & Sons, Birmingham 1908 on the outside of the bowl.
