A very handsomely designed solid silver vesta case.  Both the front and back are smartly decorated with engine turned decoration and there is an empty rectangular cartouch in the bottom right.   The lid is hinged to one side and there is a loop at the side for attachment. 

Hallmarks are clearly visible for the Chester Assay office with a date mark for 1927 and maker's marks for E J Trevitt & Sons (Ltd).  The Lion  Passant is also visible indicating the finest sterling silver.

Condition:  In good condition with slight bend to the front panel and light indentations to the polished surfaces. The lid closes well with a snap.
