Miniature in size, this simple plain polished silver rectangular Pill Box has a hinged lid with a neat protruding lip to enable opening. Inside a lovely gilded interior is revealed.   Clear hallmarks are visible on the interior base with partial marks to the underside of the lid for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1909 and maker's marks for the  silversmiths Adie & Lovekin, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver.

A lovely box that's a great size to pop in a pocket or handbag.

Condition:  This item is in very good condition.  It does have some very slight indentations to the lid commensurate with age,  which we mention for accuracy only (see images).
