An unsual and quite stunning pair of solid silver napkin rings in the form of two horseshoes.  Nicely detailed and in lovely condition, both are fully hallmarked on the back for the Sheffield Assay office with a date mark for 1964 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silver maker's mark is also clear:  Francis Howard.  Both are a good heavy gauge of silver.

These napkin rings come in the original red leatherette case which is also in great condition with cream satin and velvet interior.  The inside lid is stamped with the retailer's name: ' J A Haskell Jeweller & Silversmith, 42 Tavern Street, Ipswich'.

A gorgeous set lovely as a gift for anyone interested in equestrian pursuits, great for a christening or any occasion!

Measurements of each horseshoe:  Height:  5.3 cm   Width:  4.6 cm

Weight of both horseshoes:  48 grams

Combined weight napkin rings and case:  204 grams

Weights and measurements are approximate.
