An unusual and interesting solid silver Vesta Case.  This plain polished silver Vesta has a space in the front in which to place a striker pad in order to strike the enclosed matches. The lid is hinged on one side and when opened the hallmarks are revealed for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark: 1914 and silver maker's mark:  H J Cooper & Co ltd.

A rare item - the condition is good, however, the vesta does have some slight dents to the silver  commensurate with age and use (see images for verification).
