A very unusual and exceedingly attractive solid silver Vesta case. This Art Deco case is rectangular in shape and opens as a box with a concealed hinge to the back. The pattern overall is a neat engine turned design with a yellow metal rectangle inlaid into the front and a yellow metal protruding lip opener. The striker area is on one side. The interior is a lovely gilt finish. Hallmarks are visible on the inside lip for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1935 along with the silver maker's mark: FG
