A very stylish and handsome Art Deco silver footed Dish. The rectangular dish has curved edges and four neat feet. In the centre of the dish is a striking engine turned pattern with a rectangular vacant cartouche in the centre. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1927, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the silver maker's mark for William Base & Sons.
An exceptionally attractive dish - lovely art deco styling and in super condition (there is a tiny surface scratch to one edge not visible unless studied closely, which does not detract in any way from the item and is mentioned for accuracy only).
