Victorian gilt brass snuff box / pill box with agate set lid and base. The gilt brass metal sides have patterned borders and there is a nicely closing hinged lid. The banded agate panels have bevelled edges and it is a lovely, tactile piece.
Condition: In very good antique condition There is a flaw to the agate which can be seen from the inside but it does not go through to the outside surface. There is a hinge inside on the right hand side so it may gave once had a grille.
