A most exquisite, Victorian, large solid silver bowl.  Wonderful proportions and silversmith's work of the finest quality.  The bowl is beautifully decorated with flowers and swirls. with scalloped edging to the rim.   Very clear hallmarks are visible for the Sheffield Assay office with a date mark for 1894 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver, the maker's mark for the silversmith William Padley & Son is also clear.

A lovely item of silverware would grace any display  as well as being practical.
