A lovely Victorian silver miniature chamberstick. Fully hallmarked for the Chester Assay Office with a date mark for 1895 along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver on the dish and also partial marks just under the sconce (see images). This unusual chamberstick has a neat snuffer that is attached by a chain and hook on to the side of the pillar.  A wonderful miniature item.
