A lovely Victorian silver brooch bearing the name 'Ellen' with ivy leaves and cross decoration to the top half of the brooch. There is a good fastening pin on the back which works well. Hallmarks are visible on the back for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark 1893 and silver maker's mark: AS (possibly Albert Sydenham).
