A delightful Victorian silver sifter spoon or small ladle. The lightly gilded bowl is oval in shape, oval in shape and pierced with flower and sprig motifs creating the sifter. The handle is a good solid design having reeded decoration all around along the length and with a solid circular finial. The spoon has a very pleasing weight in the hand.
Hallmarked on the bowl as sterling silver with the Birmingham Assay Office mark, date letter for 1892 and the makers mark for Hilliard and Thomason.
A lovely spoon for any collector and in super antique condition.
