A delightful Norwegian vintage silver and enamel butterfly brooch. The wings are in guilloche enamel and superbly detailed in light blue hues with black and white accents. A slight curve to the wings reflects the light and highlights the detail. The back of the brooch is marked 'Sterling 925 S Norway' with the mark for the well known Norwegian jewellery designer Hroar Prydz, circa 1950. There is a good fastening clasp at the back that works well.
A perfect gift, made by a collectable Scandinavian designer and in fabulous condition.
