An antique 9ct gold faux sapphire & pearl bar brooch. The simple straight gold bar is adorned with a central offset square faux blue sapphire in a square rub over setting. To either side of the faux sapphire two simple sprig motifs in gold, each with two seed pearls as flower, the round balancing the square in this design. The brooch fastens with a good pin and stays securely in the catch.
A classically pretty brooch which would make a lovely gift.
Condition: in good antique condition.
Hallmarked as 9ct gold by the Chester Assay Office mark and dated 1923
