A beautiful 9ct gold claw set single opal and garnet set ring. A central cut garnet is flanked by two opals and two smaller garnets as a band of alternating colour. The stones are set within an attractive scroll detailed gallery and claw set, the tips of the claws adding shine next to the gems. The garnets are a warm wine red and the smooth polished opals are very pretty, with a white base and wonderful flashes of various greens, oranges, reds and blues.

Hallmarked as 9ct gold by the Edinburgh Assay Office with makers mark C L & S and date mark (slightly worn) for 1984.
