This beautiful antique Christening mug is decorated in a charming pattern featuring flowers and foliage across the body and has a vacant cartouche in the centre. It sits on a neat circular spreading foot and has a nice loop handle to one side.
Clear hallmarks are visible on the upper part (near the handle) for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1920 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. A fine example of quality by renowned silversmith Joseph Gloster.
A very pretty Christening mug, which would make a lovely present for a new baby or Christening.
