Vintage 1970's silver and Caithness glass set ring. The silver band is wide with a pierced criss cross lattice detail at the shoulders which taper towards the base of the ring which is smooth and plain. The ring is adorned with a circular cabochon of Caithness glass in the form of a flower. The flower is made in the millefiori fashion from small colourful canes of glass cut to reveal petal like patterns and cased in clear glass.
A colourful and striking ring, perfect for lovers of colourful glass and bold silver jewellery.
In great vintage with just a few fine scratches to the glass surface, not noticeable unless studied very closely.
Hallmarked as serling silver, Birmingham 1975 with the CG mark for Caithness Glass.
