A very striking Edwardian silver bowl with a oval pedestal base.  The bowl is oval and deep-sided, perfect for fruit. Eight scooped and shaped segments push out to create an elegantly rounded shape in smooth polished silver. The concave shapes to the interior reflect the light around the bowl in a splendid fashion.

The rim is shaped with waves and points which undulate gently with graceful symmetry. An oval pedestal base with shallow ridging completes this pleasing design.

A super quality Edwardian silver bowl which would make a splendid centrepiece to any table..

Hallmarks are visible to the outside for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1903 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the mark of silvermaker Charles Edwards.

Condition: In super antique condition, with some slight heat staining under the base, mentioned for accuracy (please refer to photos).
