An Edwardian silver boutonniere vase for the purpose of holding flowers in one's button hole or lapel. A plain polished silver with protruding frame at the top designed to hold a small floral spray.
Hallmarks are visible for the Birmingham Assay office and maker Henry Matthews. The date letter is slightly rubbed but will be either 1908 or 1910.
A delightful and interesting antique, perfect for a wedding or Ascot!
Condition: In very good antique condition with one small shallow depression to the front, barely noticeable and mentioned for accuracy only.
